Quarry Faces: July 2023

Superior Industries’ HR team hosted a signing day to celebrate two new recruits who joined the company at its Minnesota headquarters. Pictured in the front row (from left) are Isaac Sanchez and Edgar Ayala-Magan, who accepted positions as assemblers in Superior’s Conveyor Components Division. Their supervising team of Kayla LeGare, Doug Kill and Doug Anderson is pictured in the second row from the left.

A deeper dive into our 2023 camera roll uncovered this previously unpublished photo of AMCAST’s Vinnie Rocco (left) and Josh McClain. P&Q caught up with the two at the Georgia Construction Aggregate Association’s Management Workshop & Expo in Atlanta.

Pit & Quarry’s editors uncovered a handful of ConExpo-Con/Agg 2023 photos that hadn’t yet made their way into the magazine as they went to press this month. Regal Rexnord representatives shared their latest developments with P&Q in Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Pictured here from left are John Brandau, Pat Crowe, Victor Guida and Dan Geraghty.

Also at ConExpo, the magazine bumped into Charles Gilbert (left) and Bill Royce at the Astec booth in Central Hall. Gilbert is North American sales director for the East within Astec’s Materials Solutions Group, while Royce serves the company as a regional sales manager in the West.

The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s Young Leaders Annual Meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, included a golf outing at Jacaranda Golf Club. The foursome pictured here included (from left) Capital Materials’ Ericka Baxter, Bond Construction Corp.’s Karen Hubacz, Superior Industries’ Mary Erholtz and Pit & Quarry’s Kevin Yanik.
