We accept equipment press releases for consideration at any time. Please send text and images digitally via email, and following are some guidelines:

  • Text in body of e-mail or as attached Word document
  • JPG images at least 1,200 pixels on longest side
  • Send to Editor-in-Chief Kevin Yanik at kyanik@northcoastmedia.net
  • Please do not e-mail PDFs or video files
  • Please do not send materials via mail, including hard-copy text, photos, CDs, product literature, etc.

Rob Fulop has been part of the Pit & Quarry group since 1998 serving as a sales representative for the magazine. He was promoted to publisher in 2008 and group publisher in 2015. Throughout his career, he played an integral role in the overall evolution and growth of the Pit & Quarry and Portable Plants  brands. Pit & Quarry has been the market-leader since 1999. Other notable accomplishments include the growth of Portable Plants magazine, which launched in 2005 and now offers a standalone website and monthly e-newsletter; the introduction of the annual Pit & Quarry Hall of Fame event in 2013, which has quickly become one of the industry’s premier events; and the evolution of the annual Pit & Quarry Roundtable event.

Dino Vitanza has been working in business to business media for more than 20 years, with 19 of them dedicated to Pit & Quarry and Portable Plants magazines. Dino earned his undergraduate degree in marketing and business communications at Cleveland State University in 1997. Vitanza began his work with Pit & Quarry as a sales representative then grew his territory nationally to become a national sales manager. In March 2015, Dino was promoted to associate publisher of both Pit & Quarry and Portable Plants magazines. His role is to partner with advertisers in developing marketing strategies and advertising solutions. As a result of Dino’s work, advertisers benefit from heightened awareness, increased value and marketing success with aggregate industry readers.


Tim Carolin

After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations at Ohio University, Tim Carolin has served as a sales and marketing professional for over a decade in both B2B and consumer services. His experience ranges from selling sports entertainment with the Akron Aeros and Cleveland Cavaliers, real estate with Russell Real Estate Services, and media sales with PR Newswire and North Coast Media. Tim enjoys communicating with others in an effective and professional manner, while working to meet each seller and/or buyer’s personal needs.
