My Epiroc is a digital platform that helps operators, fleet managers, buyers and technicians work smoother and more efficiently. According to Epiroc, this tool enables managers to keep track of a fleet and its service needs with simple ways to track orders and follow up on faults as they arise. This increases confidence in making the right decisions based on information reported by machines and colleagues, Epiroc says. The information can be accessed on mobile devices using the Mobile Companion app with offline support or a web browser.

The Numa HDD 80 drilling system consists of a variety of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) components, including a hammer, bits, sideload sonde housing, bent subs and adaptors that are capable of drilling holes 9 3/4 in. to 10 in. in diameter. Numa says the HDD 80 drilling system offers users improved steerability, a fast penetration rate, simplified field maintenance, reduced air requirements and a lower overall cost per foot. Numa designed its HDD hammers to drill longer in difficult rock conditions. Additionally, the company says its single-bore design allows for a maximum bore diameter while providing optimum life against abrasion.

Center Rock is now working with ReichDrill blasthole quarry customers, stocking parts and putting mechanics on the road to ensure uptime. Founded in 1940 by Wendell Reich, ReichDrill has been manufacturing rotary and DTH drilling rigs for more than 80 years. In 2017, Eurofor Group acquired ReichDrill and the brand RTDrill was launched. The ReichDrill factory, located in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, employs more than 50 people. Most drill parts are manufactured in-house with a large inventory on hand for distributors and drillers around the world.

Achieve a better reaming operation

A retrac reaming bit from Rockmore International is available for tunneling, mining and underground construction drilling operations. The bit is designed with unique retrac-style cutting fins in the rear section to promote better retraction out of the hole, according to the company. The fins effectively force out any rock chips from behind the bit when the drill string is pulled from the blasthole. This results in more efficient reaming operations, according to Rockmore.
