The Pennsylvania Aggregates & Concrete Association (PACA) presented its Hank Bauer Concrete Promoter of the Year award to Rory McCoy of Centre Concrete Co., who’s pictured at right. McCoy was selected for his dedication to concrete promotion and education on behalf of PACA and its members. Pictured alongside McCoy is Masters RMC’s Bob Housel, who recently completed his two-year stint as chairman of the PACA board of directors.

A contingent of attendees from Austin Power Co. and Luck Stone were at the South Carolina Aggregates Association (SCAA) Workshop & Exhibition in Columbia, South Carolina. Pictured from left are Austin Powder’s Charlie Phillips, Chandler Champion, Brian Thornburg, Ross Ellis and Dave Veres with Luck Stone’s Trevor McLouth and Matt Pullin. The three-day SCAA event featured speakers and a panel on technology advancements in the aggregate industry.

Hoyt Wire Cloth’s Tyler Hardy, left, and Brian Maker were also on hand at the 2022 SCAA Workshop & Exhibition. SCAA hosted the event for the second time in as many years, with executive director Jessica Palmer noting that about 315 attendees and 44 exhibiting companies participated.
