The Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Association (OAIMA) was awarded the 2019 Best Technology Exhibit by the Ohio Technology & Engineering Educators Association at the Ohio State Fair.

OAIMA displayed a crushing and screening demonstration with help from Ohio Cat, Screen Machine and Gilson Co. Keith Best, the manager of the northern region at Saul’s Seismic, assisted the association with the display and educational opportunities.

OAIMA is the trade association in Ohio that represents all of the state’s mining operations, except coal. These commodities include mostly construction materials, both natural and man-made, such as aggregate, salt, clay, shale, gypsum, industrial sand, building stone, lime, cement and recycled concrete.
