More than 700 attendees have convened in Nashville for the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s (NSSGA) 2024 Annual Convention.

The 2024 meeting, themed “Rock Steady,” will highlight the sustained stability and success of the aggregate industry.

“Our annual conference is important for every NSSGA member,” says Seth Hankowski of All States Materials Group, who serves NSSGA as 2023 chairman. “Meeting and sharing ideas helps our industry function efficiently and promotes our collective success. By working together, we have been able to advance solutions to issues affecting each of our businesses.”

The conference, taking place March 23-26, includes committee meetings, breakout sessions and networking events. The first general session included a special message to the industry from Sen. Martin Blackburn (R-Tennessee) and surprise guests The Warren Brothers.

“2023 was an excellent year for our association, and I look forward to celebrating our victories with our members in Nashville,” says Michael Johnson, president and CEO of NSSGA. “It’s also a great time to discuss industry challenges and build momentum for the year ahead. It’s so important for our members to attend their committee meetings and our breakout sessions, as we seek to address issues they face and capitalize on new opportunities.”

Alongside the NSSGA Annual Convention, AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo is taking place March 25-27. This event will provide access to exhibitors and 60 industry-focused programming sessions in four educational tracks.

AGG1 is held alongside World of Asphalt, which is produced by the National Asphalt Paving Association and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
