Mark Krause, vice president at McLanahan Corp., took over as chair of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s (NSSGA) Manufacturing & Services (M&S) Division.

Krause succeeds Charlie Johnson, director of domestic dredges sales at DSC Dredge, as M&S chairman.

“I am honored to be taking on this role and thankful to Charlie and the past M&S chairs for their leadership,” says Krause, who took over the role during the NSSGA Annual Convention in Nashville. “I look forward to working with NSSGA staff and M&S members to continue our service to the association and foster beneficial relationships across the industry.”

Krause, whose career in the aggregate industry spans more than 40 years, joined McLanahan in 2014. His experience includes roles at producing companies, at the dealer level, and for large and small manufacturers.

In addition to Krause taking over as M&S Division chairman, Komatsu’s Tom Suess was named vice chair of the M&S Division.
