Kobelco Construction Machinery USA added Powerscreen of Northern California to its dealer network.

This partnership enables Powerscreen of Northern California to serve the market with a range of excavators – from the SK17SR mini-excavator to the SK520LC-11. Kobelco’s machine lineup is ideal for aggregates, construction, demolition, forestry and other industries, the company says.

Through the partnership, Powerscreen of Northern California will provide Kobelco parts, rentals, sales and service from its facility in Dayton, Nevada, that is just outside of Reno.

“Working with Kobelco as brand partner enables us to strengthen our offering to customers,” says Gary McConn, vice president of Powerscreen of California. “The quality, versatility and efficiency of the machines shines through and perfectly complements our existing product range. We are confident that, coupled with our reputation for superb after-sales service, the addition of the Kobelco range will enable us to continue to develop our reach.”

According to Kobelco, the partnership is Powerscreen of California’s latest expansion since U.K.-based equipment dealer Molson Group acquired the dealership in October 2022.

“We are excited to build on the relationship we have developed with Molson Group in the U.K. and to be working with Powerscreen of California, a growing dealership with a customer-centric approach,” says Jack Fendrick, COO and vice president of Kobelco Construction Machinery USA. “We are confident the Kobelco products will enable it to accelerate its growth.”
