Kleemann’s new Mobibelt mobile stackers offer a more flexible arrangement of worksite processes, according to the company. The Mobibelt MBT 20i and MBT 24i stackers extend the action radius of crushing and screening plants, Kleemann says, making large stockpiles and improved worksite logistics possible. Both stackers are equipped with a 1.6-cu.-yd. feed hopper made of Kleemann Resistant Steel, which the company says permits the feeding of material with an edge length of up to 8 in. An optional hopper extension up to 3.3 cu. yd. is provided with an additional impact bar that prevents the direct impact of the feed material on the conveyor belt and reduces wear, the company says.

Range of features available on radial conveyor

ProStack, a Terex brand, launched the Ranger 6-24TR tracked radial conveyor as the latest addition to it stacker range. Designed for stockpiling in applications such as quarrying, the Ranger 6-24TR provides efficiency, versatility and automation, according to ProStack. The tracked radial conveyor features a semi-automated stockpile program that allows operators to stockpile materials in set patterns to suit their specific needs. This feature comes standard with an optional fully automated program available. The stacker also features hydraulic discharge height adjustment, allowing for further flexibility when operating in different applications, ProStack says.

Solar-powered gateway an option for bins, silos

The BinCloud solar gateway from BinMaster is a solution for installing level sensors on bins and silos in places where providing power proves to be challenging. According to BinMaster, the BinCloud solar gateway allows users to effortlessly monitor the fill levels of bins and silos at remote sites. Hourly updates are sent directly to BinCloud software for automated inventory management. As BinMaster describes, the solar gateway system seamlessly integrates with non-contact radar level sensors or any 4-20 mA loop-powered sensors, ensuring compatibility and flexibility.

Hydrogen hybrid power solution being pursued

Caterpillar launched a three-year program to demonstrate a hydrogen hybrid power solution built on its new Cat C13D engine platform. Starting in the first quarter of 2024, Cat plans to develop a transient-capable system for off-highway applications. Cat intends to demonstrate how state-of-the-art control systems and electric-hybrid components can help hydrogen-fueled engines meet or exceed the power density and transient performance of traditional diesel engines.

Engine oil line being refocused for several key reasons

Chevron Products Co. plans to simplify its Delo heavy-duty engine oil (HDEO) product line by focusing on synthetic blend and full synthetic products. The change is designed to ensure customers have access to reliable product supply and competitively aligned and priced synthetic blend and synthetic options, according to Chevron. In a rolling transition beginning this month, Chevron is sunsetting three HDEO products: Delo 400 SDE SAE 10W-30, Delo 400 SDE SAE 15W-40 and Delo 400 XLE SAE15W-40. The three will be replaced with Delo 400 XLE SB SAE 15W-40, a new synthetic blend that will complement Chevron’s Delo 400 XLE 10W-30.

The new TJ2440 is one of the most aggressive and productive jaws on the market for its size range of 24-in. inlet gape by 40-in. inlet width, the company says.
