Suzio

Cheryl Ann Suzio, who served Suzio-York Hill Companies as vice president of safety and health, died Aug. 17. She was 66.

Suzio-York Hill is based in Meriden, Connecticut, providing construction materials such as crushed stone, asphalt and concrete. Suzio-York Hill was founded in 1898 as L. Suzio Construction Co., and it is still very much a family business, the company says.

According to the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA), Suzio was deeply invested in the work done at NSSGA and a tireless advocate for the aggregate industry.
