SAM by Sandvik, a digital tool Sandvik designed to support crushing and screening plants, was a focus for the company last week at ConExpo-Con/Agg.

Designed for those running daily operations, SAM by Sandvik serves as a digital assistant that brings people, activities and data together in one tool. SAM by Sandvik, which is available globally, gives customers the insights, support and performance-enhancing information needed to increase crushing and screening productivity in one place, Sandvik says.

When connected, Sandvik says SAM opens up new possibilities for remote service support, thereby shortening response time and avoiding unnecessary travel.

All 800i series crushers, including the CH865i cone crusher – which was on display at ConExpo-Con/Agg – are SAM-ready. SAM connectivity is included with the purchase of 800i series crushers, Sandvik says. A retrofit package is also available for cone crushers with the ASRi 1.x and 2.x automation systems.
