Road Machinery & Supplies to represent Telsmith

Telsmith named Road Machinery & Supplies Co. (RMS), a construction and mining equipment dealer in the Upper Midwest, its newest dealer.

According to RMS, it will carry Telsmith’s entire product line of aggregate and mining process equipment.

“Telsmith is a proven product and we are excited to be able to offer its innovative solutions to our current customers,” says Ben Schmidtlein, RMS aggregate division manager. “Telsmith provides a full range of integrated processing equipment to the aggregate, mining, industrial and recycling industries. We are proud to be able to offer Telsmith and its great history of equipment and experience to RMS customers.”

RMS’s addition of Telsmith adds yet another Astec brand to the company’s offering. RMS also currently represents KPI-JCI & Astec Mobile Screens, Peterson and Roadtec.

“We are very excited to have RMS expand their Astec product offering by bringing on the Telsmith line,” says Darren Kirby, North America sales director of the Central region for the Material Solutions Group at Astec Industries. “They have been a great partner for us and we look forward to our continued success with them as a dealer.”

According to RMS, it will be the primary Telsmith dealer for customers in Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. RMS will also represent Telsmith in several Illinois counties, including Henry, Mercer and Rock Island.

In addition to adding the Telsmith line to its offerings, RMS is now a manufacturers’ representative for ME Elecmetal’s crusher wear products line.

Based in Savage, Minnesota, RMS operates nine locations across Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, in addition to a family of companies that includes seven businesses in Minnesota and Texas.
