New Volvo CE dealer for Arkansas

Scott Equipment Co. will offer Volvo Construction Equipment products and services from its locations in Arkansas, in addition to its locations in Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Scott Equipment closed an agreement with Hugg & Hall Equipment Co. based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and is taking over all Volvo CE distribution in the state.

According to the agreements, Scott Equipment will take over all Volvo CE business from Hugg & Hall and transfer to the company its Toyota material handling equipment line for the state of Arkansas.

“We see this agreement to trade product lines as mutually beneficial to both equipment providers,” says John Hugg, president of Hugg & Hall. “We have appreciated the opportunity to represent Volvo CE products in our territory for over 30 years, and consider Scott Equipment a respected peer. We will work together to make a seamless transition for both our customers and employees.”

Scott Equipment has 80 years of experience with heavy-duty construction equipment. The company has represented Volvo CE since 2000.

Scott Equipment will take on Hugg & Hall employees, servicing Volvo CE products and offering services in its four Arkansas locations – Fort Smith, Springdale, Texarkana and Little Rock.
