Conn-Weld Industries introduced a brand-new screen last week at AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo, showcasing the piece in its booth at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

According to Conn-Weld, its new elliptical horizontal screen features asymmetrical shafts and a phase-adjustable gearbox that’s designed so the angle of motion can be adjusted while the equipment is running, thus eliminating downtime.

“The elliptical horizontal sparked a lot of questions and a lot of excitement about the solution it brings to the industry,” says Anthony Fink, vice president of engineering at Conn-Weld.

Conn-Weld president Marvin Woodie expects the new screen to be a great addition to the company’s product portfolio.

“I can’t think of a better opportunity to launch the elliptical horizontal than AGG1,” Woodie says. “We are very grateful to NSSGA (the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association) for providing us this platform and the chance to meet with so many people in our industry. AGG1 2022 has proven to be a very productive show for Conn-Weld.”
