MSHA to host safety training conference

The Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) will host its annual Training Resources Applied to Mining conference Oct. 15-17 at the National Mine Health & Safety Academy in Beaver, West Virginia.

The theme of this year’s tuition-free conference is “Expand your reach – knowledge is your superpower!”

Attendees will have opportunities to improve their training skills through programs and workshops, feature presentations from industry safety trainers, and training materials. Participants may select from a variety of workshops covering topics such as technology, training delivery methods, and safety and health topics.

In addition, the exhibit hall will feature training materials developed by MSHA, state grant recipients, and the mining industry along with innovative health and safety products.
