Montabert introduces water mist system at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2020

By |  March 11, 2020

Montabert logoMontabert, a manufacturer of hydraulic rock breakers and related attachments, unveiled its new water mist system at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2020.

According to Montabert, the water mist system was created to mitigate silica on job sites following regulation changes from the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).

The spray feature includes an integrated host protection design with a water inlet port. According to the company, breakers with this feature will have two lifting points for improved safety and a water nozzle that provides a wide-angle spray.

“Montabert is providing this new water spray feature as a solution for contractors to minimize silica on job sites,” says Stephane Giroudon, director of sales for Americas at Montabert. “The contractor is required to find a way to meet OSHA silica standards, and Montabert is now providing a solution to help them do that.”
