Liebherr USA adds two regional sales managers

Liebherr USA added two regional sales managers to its team. Zack Sims will serve as regional manager for the company’s east central region and Mark Williams will serve as regional manager for the company’s east coast region.

According to the company, Sims comes to Liebherr with nearly a decade of sales and management experience in the contractor and heavy equipment industries.

In his new role, Sims will work directly with Liebherr USA customers, dealers and partners to advance the Mining Division’s goal of growing its U.S. customer base in Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. Sims has a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Williams has more than 16 years of industry experience, including more than six years working for Liebherr USA’s Mining Division as both an application engineer and regional sales support manager, the company adds.

In his new role, Williams will work directly with the company’s customers, dealers and partners to advance the Mining Division’s goal of growing its U.S. customer base in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Williams has a bachelor’s degree in mining and minerals engineering from Virginia Tech.

Earlier this year, the company also added three New Jersey locations to its dealer network, and its U.S. headquarters is also expected to be complete in 2020.
