Clyde Companies, the parent company of WW Clyde, Geneva Rock, Sunroc, Sunpro, Scott Contracting, Beehive Insurance, GWC Capital and Bridgesource, made several organizational changes in senior leadership.

Wilford Clyde, president, CEO and chairman of Clyde Companies, will continue as CEO and chairman. Jeremy Hafen was named president of Clyde Companies.

According to Clyde Companies, Hafen has worked at the company for 16 years, formerly serving as president of Sunroc Building Materials, president of Sunroc Corp. and president of Clyde Business Group.

Additionally, Jeff Clyde, president of the Clyde/Geneva Group, retired at the end of 2020. Clyde spent 38 years with Clyde Companies, including serving as president of WW Clyde for seven years.

In another development, Jim Golding, president of Geneva Rock, was appointed president of the construction materials and services group at Clyde Companies.

Also, Jay Ritchie was appointed president of Geneva Rock; Howard Watts retired at the end of 2020; and Brandon Hale was named corporate secretary. Hale will continue his responsibilities as general counsel.

All changes were effective Dec. 8.

“These changes reflect a thoughtful and strategic approach to long-term growth and succession planning for the entire organization,” says Jeremy Hafen, president of Clyde Companies. “We honor the leaders who have guided the organization to become what it is today, and we are confident the future of Clyde Companies continues to be very bright as we remain committed to our core values and long-standing principles.”
