Kolberg-Pioneer adds washing, classifying manager

Kolberg-Pioneer promoted Brett Casanova to washing and classifying product manager. In addition, Kolberg-Pioneer, Johnson Crushers International and Astec Mobile Screens hired Vanessa Nelson as a communications marketer.

In his new position, Casanova will help manage sales opportunities in conjunction with the field sales force. He also will be responsible for assisting other sales and marketing personnel in the development of production and operation cost data, product pricing, sales tools and training materials.

Casanova has been with the company since May 2008, when he was hired as a sales engineer for the sales and marketing department.

“We are excited to have Brett assume his new leadership role with Kolberg-Pioneer,” says Jeff Wendte, inside sales director for Kolberg-Pioneer. “His extensive knowledge on the washing and classifying products made him the right person for the position.”

Nelson, meanwhile, is responsible for a range of marketing support, including creating and maintaining marketing literature, website, social media presence and promotional programs.

“We are very excited to have Vanessa join the marketing team for Kolberg-Pioneer, Johnson Crushers International and Astec Mobile Screens,” says Melinda Schweitzer, marketing manager. “Her background in public relations and experience in digital marketing will benefit us in defining ways to better serve our dealers and customers.”

Kolberg-Pioneer, Johnson Crushers International and Astec Mobile Screens are equipment manufacturers for the aggregate, construction and recycling industries. The companies provide a variety of crushing, screening, material handling, washing and classifying, and portable equipment.
