IRock Crushers hired Michael Millies as director of operations.

In the position, Millies is responsible for the direction and strategic growth within all areas of IRock operations. These include manufacturing, supply chain, production planning, facilities management, and EHS (environment, health and safety).

According to the company, Millies joins the IRock leadership team with nearly 15 years invested in the heavy equipment industry – including experiences at McCloskey International and Komatsu.

“Being a part of IRock is an exciting new chapter of my career,” Millies says. “Getting involved with an organization that is agile to customer needs, prioritizes partnerships and aftermarket support, and then always doing what is right directly aligns with my personal values. This is how I know IRock is the right home. I passionately believe these characteristics, along with the caliber and charisma of our team members, will propel the company to new heights.”

Chris Larson, general manager at IRock, is enthusiastic about Millies joining IRock.

“His past tenure at major global manufacturers afforded Mike the ability to gain key operations-related experience with the prospect of applying these proficiencies to IRock’s strategic initiatives,” Larson says. “Mike is extremely well-rounded professionally and exhibits strong core competencies within finance and commercial aspects alike.

“But what most excites me is how well he aligns personally with our existing team, our core values and corporate principles,” he adds. “He possesses the ambition required to undertake his new responsibilities and, coupled with his extensive knowledge and experience, he will contribute greatly to our continued growth.”
