Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. named Stan Park its vice president of distribution/marketing and Tom Owen vice president of national construction equipment sales.

Park

According to the company, Park will be responsible for leading teams in building and supporting the company’s dealer network and overall marketing efforts. Owen will lead efforts to reach and support equipment customers whose job sites and business scope extends across North America.

Park, who has been an employee of the company for more than 20 years, served as strategic distribution manager for the company, responsible for marketing and district sales management, strategic dealer development, and national account sales.

“Stan’s longtime experience supporting and growing our dealer network, extensive management background and proven leadership will reinforce our dealers’ and customers’ growing trust in the Hyundai Construction Equipment brand,” says M.S. Kang, president of Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas.

Park is looking forward to the new opportunity.

“I have been extremely fortunate to grow with Hyundai Construction Equipment – and to see the brand grow to be a solid choice,” Park says. “Distribution and marketing are key to our future success and growth plans, and I am excited to lead this area of our business.”

Owen

Owen, meanwhile, recently served as national sales manager for the company, responsible for both the inside and outside sales teams for Hyundai’s construction equipment products. Owen brings experience in strategic sales and distribution management within the heavy equipment industry, with more than 25 years in key sales and marketing positions at leading global original equipment manufacturers.

“Tom understands the strategic and tactical requirements of customers with multi-state, multi-province operations and will work to help ensure that Hyundai and our expanding dealer network meet the needs of these customers,” Kang says. “His strategic outlook and dedication to achieving outstanding results make him an excellent fit to lead our national sales efforts.”

Owen plans to build on momentum in his new role.

“With Hyundai, we continually hear that customers get more than they expect,” Owen says. “I look forward to building on the growing momentum for the Hyundai brand and helping strengthen relationships with our customers.”
