Eriez expanded its Wager Road facility in Erie, Pennsylvania, with the addition of 38,000 sq. ft. to the building.

According to Eriez, the 148,000-sq.-ft. space will support the company’s strategic growth initiatives for global research and development, aftermarket repair and testing, and recycling equipment technology. The footprint of the aftermarket repair center doubles with this expansion, Eriez says.

The expansion also adds another manufacturing bay, a new electronics lab to house electronics product development activities, and a new R&D area to support global product development programs.

“The expanded repair, testing, demonstration and R&D areas will allow us to complete even bigger projects and pilot tests, speed up and enhance product development activities, and offer additional aftermarket repair capabilities with faster turnaround times,” says Tim Gland, vice president and general manager for Eriez-USA. “We are proud to make this latest investment in Erie, Pennsylvania.”

The company originally purchased the Wager Road building – located about 15 miles from the company’s world headquarters – in 2011 and broke ground for expansion in January 2020. The expansion is the largest investment Eriez says it has made to date at its Wager Road facility.
