Hazemag’s HPI-H primary impactor and its HAZtronic automated control technology were on display earlier this month at ConExpo-Con/Agg.

The HPI-H is designed to crush medium-hard rock down to a well-graded product size of up to 6 in., Hazemag says. The primary impactor is offered in 10 different sizes with capacities ranging from 150 to 800 tph.

In aggregate and recycling operations, Hazemag says the HPI-H is used pre-crushing without a grinding path. In cement operations, the crusher is used with a grinding path for the production of a raw material with the ideal grain size distribution for further grinding in vertical roller mills.

HAZtronic, meanwhile, delivers consistent product grading, easier and safer maintenance, as well as the ability to produce products that are needed the most at the touch of a button, Hazemag says. Additionally, the company says the automated control technology helps to reduce downtime, offers smoother impactor operation, provides a quick visual observation of all functions, and comes with a bearing temperature monitoring system.
