The new line of screw conveyor reducers from Cleveland Gear Co. is available in five sizes ranging from 2 to 6 and ratios of 15-to-1 and 25-to-1. The screw conveyor reducers are suitable for American Gear Manufacturers Association Class I, II or III applications. The rugged cast-iron housings are precision-machined and drilled to accept their screw conveyor mounting adapters. The carburized, casehardened and ground-helical gearing allows for quiet operation, higher load capacity and more efficient operation. Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) mounting adapter kits provide all of the components necessary for screw conveyor applications. In order to facilitate easy mounting, the screw conveyor reducers feature output shafts that are machined to match the company’s hollow bores.
