Atlas Copco unveils new drill rig, bit line

By |  March 9, 2017

At ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017, Atlas Copco introduced the PowerROC T45 drill rig and Powerbit line of bits. The T45 fills a demand for a more basic drill with straightforward controls that’s easier to use. It offers increased reliability and ease of maintenance, as well as improved fuel economy, says the company.

The unit is designed to drill holes from 3 to five inches in diameter. And Atlas Copco says it’s new Powerbit line outperforms other bits in the tophammer category.
