Video: Bucyrus-Erie 60-S swing shovel
Bucyrus-Erie’s 60-S swing shovel, introduced in 1970, was designed as a cross between a crawler loader and a hydraulic shovel with the hopes that it would integrate both the high mobility of a loader and the high breakout force of the shovel. This video was was compiled, narrated and produced by Keith Haddock for the Historical Construction Equipment Association.
