Ruston-Bucyrus 300 stripping shovel
This footage, which was compiled, narrated and produced by Keith Haddock for the Historical Construction Equipment Association, shows a Ruston-Bucyrus 300 stripping shovel working in a pit in England. The shovel carried a 10-yd. dipper on a 90-ft. boom and weighed 470 tons.
