Metso names interim president, CEO

Metso’s board of directors appointed CFO Eeva Sipilä as the company’s interim president and CEO as of Feb. 3.

The current president and CEO, Nico Delvaux, will leave his duties on Feb. 2. His resignation was published on Dec. 18. The search for a new president and CEO is under way.

Metso serves the mining, aggregate, recycling, oil, gas, pulp, paper and process industries. The company’s products range from mining and aggregate processing equipment and systems to industrial valves and controls.
