Kespry, which designs automated drone systems for commercial use, plans to move to several new buildings in Silicon Valley near its current headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif.

Kespry has doubled its staff over the last year, from 25 employees to more than 50, a company spokesperson says. Kespry’s growth has created a need for additional space. The company is currently hiring additional engineering and service team members to ramp up production and serve customers.

The new Kespry facility will be capable of accommodating up to 200 employees, the company adds.

In addition, Kespry announced the close of $16 million in financing that includes investments from DCM Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
