Control Concepts’ electromechanical line of DAZIC™ Zero Speed Switches indicate the rotary motion when attached to equipment. Ideal for use in material handling systems as interlocks on conveyor systems of all types. These shaft driven switches insure the cessation of the entire conveyor system when deviation from normal operating speed occurs, avoiding an expensive and time-consuming pile-up of material or an unsafe situation. Manufactured from aluminum or cast iron with a NEMA 4/4x housing, these switches detect changes in motion from 0.5 RPM up to 2000 RPM. Explosion-proof models with a NEMA 7/9 housing are also available for use in hazardous environments.
