ConExpo-Con/Agg and the co-located IFPE drew more than 139,000 people to the trade shows in Las Vegas.
According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, which hosts ConExpo-Con/Agg in and around the Las Vegas Convention Center every three years, the 139,000-plus in attendance surpassed its expectations.
“The innovations in the construction industry unveiled this week will play a role in helping construction professionals drive meaningful and sustainable economic growth,” says Phil Kelliher, Caterpillar senior vice president, who served as ConExpo-Con/Agg chair this year. “Live events in the construction industry are very important because you can see, touch and experience the products. That value was reaffirmed this past week across the show floor.”
ConExpo-Con/Agg, hosted March 14-18, featured 2,400 exhibitors from 36 countries. Exhibits spanned more than 3 million sq. ft., according to show management.
