Weir Minerals completed the integration of Delta Industrial‘s valve manufacturing operations into its St. Louis facility.

Prior to the integration, Weir’s St. Louis facility manufactured only Lewis pumps and valves.

The decision to relocate the manufacturing of the Delta Industrial valves was made to grow both brands, increase production and streamline manufacturing processes, according to the company.

In addition to the manufacturing expansion, Weir added 24 valve specialists around the globe.

“Integrating two large brands and multiple product lines is no easy task, and during the transition we built up a backlog of orders which we had to address,” says Grant Ramsden, managing director of the St. Louis facility. “We’ve optimized the supply chain to deliver what our customers want when they want it.”
