WD-40 expands Specialist product line

WD-40 Co. is adding non-aerosol Industrial-Strength Cleaner & Degreaser products to its Specialist line. According to the company, WD-40 Specialist Industrial-Strength Cleaner & Degreaser is a water-based formula that’s low-odor and is safe to use on multiple surfaces, including metals like copper, aluminum and chrome.

The spray is U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Safer Choice Certified and comes in a variety of sizes with custom packaging, including a 24-ounce refillable trigger, a 32-ounce non-refillable trigger, a gallon container, a five-gallon container with a spigot and a 55-gallon drum.

“Automotive, construction, maintenance, repair and operations professionals want a degreaser that can effectively and safely help them get their jobs done,” says Tim Lesmeister, vice president of marketing at WD-40. “The WD-40 Specialist Industrial-Strength Cleaner & Degreaser products can be used in any work environment and on any greasy job.”

Other WD-40 Specialist degreaser products on the market include the aerosol Industrial-Strength Degreaser and aerosol Machine and Engine Degreaser.
