Volvo Construction Equipment made several changes to its executive management team, including the appointment of Scott Young as head of the North American region.

Young assumes the role from Stephen Roy, who recently took on a new position within the Volvo Group executive board as president of Mack Trucks. Most recently, Young served as head of the Volvo CE uptime center of expertise.

Additionally, Volvo CE appointed Mats Sköldberg head of technology. Jay Parker, head of digital and IT at Volvo CE, was elevated to the company’s executive management team.

“Our leadership team will be greatly strengthened with the addition of Scott, Mats and Jay, as they join during a significant time of change for our industry,” says Melker Jernberg, president of Volvo CE. “With their diverse experience, cross-functional understanding and genuine passion, I have no doubt we will continue to lead our company’s sustainable transformation going forward.”
