By |  September 4, 2018

Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) moved into its new global headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, on Sept. 3, marking the occasion with an inauguration ceremony attended by more than 500 senior company leaders and employees.

The new headquarters is located at Campus Lundby, the same site as other Volvo CE business areas, and is sharing a building with Volvo Buses, which moved in on the same day, as well as Volvo Penta.

The move will help facilitate the sharing of resources, best practices and competence. It also will create more opportunities for collaboration, according to Volvo CE.

“At Volvo CE, we have always collaborated with other parts of the Volvo Group, but our new shared headquarters will facilitate closer collaboration and cooperation,” says Melker Jernberg, president of Volvo CE. “Campus Lundby has brought us all together and it will help us build better, stronger working relationships that will benefit our customers.”

Håkan Agnevall, president of Volvo Buses, and Björn Ingemason, president of Volvo Penta, also attended the the inauguration ceremony and delivered speeches to the audience of senior leaders and employees.
