Delivering 40% more belt traction, increasing lagging and belt lifespan, the GrizzlyDrive with VDG-patented IronGrip lagging reduces maintenance downtime and operating costs. The GrizzlyDrive series drum motor features robust mechanical seals, heavy-duty bearings, planetary or coaxial gear reducer, and a high-efficiency electric motor all enclosed and protected inside the drive shell, providing 80,000 hours of operation before maintenance. The all-enclosed, one-component design GrizzlyDrive increases efficiency, throughput, and operator safety. In addition, the patented IronGrip lagging extends the lifespan of belt conveyors operating in harsh, abrasive, and wet conditions. Available up to 500 hp and 42” diameter.
