The new GrizzlyDrive drum motor is designed specifically for belt conveyors operating under harsh, abrasive and demanding conditions. It features robust mechanical seals, heavy-duty bearings, planetary and coaxial gear configuration. All drive components are enclosed inside the drum and engineered for up to 80,000 hours of continuous operation without maintenance. The GrizzlyDrive with VDG patented IronGrip™ lagging eliminates lagging delamination, improves belt tracking and prolongs belt life. The VDG GrizzlyDrive eliminates the hazards posed by conventional external conveyor drive configuration, increasing operator safety, efficiency, and maximizing space utilization. Available up to 500 HP and 42-inch diameter to suit most conveyor belt applications.
