Unified Screening & Crushing COO Andrew Lentsch was named vice president of the American Wire Cloth Institute (AWCI).

Founded by wire cloth producers in 1933, AWCI continues to establish, sustain and promote the standards for wire cloth sold throughout North America.

Lentsch represents the second generation of Unified leadership serving AWCI. Both his father, Tom Lentsch, and uncle, Greg Lentsch, served as president of the organization.

“I am proud to represent Unified on the board of the AWCI,” Andrew Lentsch says. “We are one of the few remaining family-owned companies in our industry, and wire cloth has been a staple product in our 150 years of serving the sand and gravel and mining industries.

“The past 24 months have been challenging for many businesses in our country,” he adds. “We were proud to serve our customers who remain a part of our country’s essential critical infrastructure. And, to continue to manufacture woven screen cloth here in the United States is important – to us and to our customers.”

Unified Screening & Crushing manufactures screening and sizing media. It is also a supplier of crusher wear parts.
