U.S. Concrete names CFO

U.S. Concrete added John E. Kunz to its executive team as senior vice president and CFO.

Kunz brings three decades worth of financial, governance compliance, public company reporting and internal controls experience to U.S. Concrete. Kunz, who earned a Master of Management in finance degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an undergraduate degree from The University of Notre Dame, also has extensive experience in accounting, tax, finance and capital markets experience.

“I am very excited to be joining the talented team at U.S. Concrete,” Kunz says. “U.S. Concrete has built up top-tier positions in some of the most active construction markets in the country, and I look forward to using my deep financial experience to help us further solidify our presence in these markets and expand into new fundamentally strong regions throughout the country.”

William J. Sandbrook, president and CEO of U.S. Concrete, is pleased with the new hire.

Before joining U.S. Concrete, Kunz served as the vice president, corporate controller and principal accounting officer of Tenneco Inc., a manufacturer of automotive and commercial vehicle clean air and ride performance systems. Kunz also served in the finance departments at Great Lakes Chemical Corp., Weirton Steels Corps. and KPMG LLP.
