Turner Staffing Group, a provider of staffing solutions for the mining industry, acquired a staffing firm specializing in the recruitment and placement of skilled professionals.

According to Turner, the acquisition of HR Advantages (HRA) strengthens its capabilities and solidifies its position as a resource for connecting skilled personnel with career opportunities across the U.S.

HRA has connected individuals with opportunities for more than 20 years, Turner says.

“The acquisition of HRA marks a significant milestone in our growth, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them into our Turner family,” says Thomas Haun, president of Turner Staffing Group, which was established in 2022. “Their expertise and track record with the largest mining firms align perfectly with our mission to attract, develop and connect great people with the best opportunities. This acquisition enhances our ability to deliver top-tier talent and comprehensive staffing solutions across the industry.”

Turner Staffing Group offers tailored staffing solutions to optimize workforce management and mitigate risk for clients. Leveraging its affiliation with Turner Mining Group, Turner Staffing Group says it has cultivated a deep understanding of the industry’s demands and developed processes to recruit, train and retain top mining talent.

“We are well-positioned to continue to innovate and address the labor shortage across the mining industry,” Haun says. “Our vision is to break the cycle of outdated hiring practices and implement a fresh, personable approach to talent. By providing new access to human capital and prioritizing impact with skillset, we will lead the industry toward a people rebuild.”
