Turner Mining Group opens Utah headquarters

The additional headquarters reflects Turner Mining Group’s commitment to expanding its presence in the U.S. mining market, the company says. The new office will house a range of mining operations, including field management, engineering, planning and estimating.

“The vision for Turner Mining Group always included having our teams strategically located across the country,” says Keaton Turner, president of Turner Mining Group. “Opening the new office is an exciting step that allows us to continue growing and advancing our mission to make the mining industry a better place. We’re just getting started.”

Lennie Boteilho, senior vice president of mining at Turner Mining Group, will manage the new office and all corresponding personnel, the company says.

Boteilho has more than 30 years of management experience in pre-construction, mining, heavy civil and environmental projects. He joins Turner Mining Group from Ames Construction, where he was responsible for managing civil and mining projects.

“Coming from a larger contractor in the industry, it’s exciting to see the commitment this young team is taking to ensure our company is performing at its peak,” Boteilho says. “With this additional office, we are fully committed to meeting our clients’ needs and strengthening our partnerships. I’m looking forward to leading our progressive team based in Utah and providing a hub for operations to run at full capacity.”
