Tsurumi Pump names VP of sales

By |  September 1, 2016

Tsurumi Pump appointed Chuck Rickman as its vice president of sales. In this new position, Rickman will be responsible for forecasting sales, assisting with pricing and working with regional sales managers to establish new distribution channels.

Rickman joined Tsurumi Pump in 2016. He will take the place of recently retired Bill Davidson. Prior to this position, Rickman served as vice president of product development for Bakercorp.

“Chuck’s management skills are phenomenal,” says Glenn Wieczorek, managing director for Tsurumi. “But it’s more than that – he strikes a great balance between passion for the work and intelligence on the job. Chuck perfectly fits with our corporate culture and has already found ways to streamline some of our internal systems. The world has come to trust Tsurumi products, and with Chuck on board, I think we’ve found an ideal ambassador for our brand that will help maintain that trust.”

Rickman, who holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Eastern Illinois University, looks forward to his new position.

“I joined Tsurumi because the potential for personal and professional growth is incredible,” he says. “It’s not every day you get to become a part of a team that has the desire and drive to solve customers’ challenges like Tsurumi does. It’s a unique place where employees’ expertise is only matched by their enthusiasm.”

Founded in 1979, Tsurumi America is a division of Tsurumi Manufacturing. Headquartered in Glendale, Illinois, Tsurumi is active in 45 countries and has been providing more than 35 years of leading pumping technology in construction, civil engineering, mining, industrial wastewater, domestic wastewater, sewage treatment, flood control and scenery creation industries.
