TRUX, a provider of dump truck logistics technology, named Tom Spencer as chief revenue officer.

In his new role, Spencer will be responsible for leading the company’s sales and marketing teams while focusing on furthering TRUX’s overall growth efforts, the company says. He will also collaborate with the company’s product development and finance teams.

“Tom is a proven leader and has shown massive success delivering results through a multitude of innovative and customer-first strategies,” says Bart Ronan, CEO of TRUX. “His fresh perspective has already been and will continue to be invaluable at TRUX. We’re thrilled to be welcoming him to the team during this time of growth.”

Spencer previously supported sales and marketing growth at AvidXChange and has created results through innovation and operational rigor, Trux says.

“I’m looking forward to being part of the TRUX team and helping to transform transportation logistics during such an innovative time,” Spencer says. “Success always starts with a great team of people thinking outside the box and delivering value for customers, and I’m excited to push the boundaries of that success to earn meaningful results for the company.”
