thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (USA) is investing in a new service center in Reno, Nevada, to bring field service expertise, machining, fabrication and refurbishment capabilities closer to customers – especially those located in the West.

According to thyssenkrupp, the groundbreaking for the facility is slated to take place in early 2021. The service center is expected to provide 10,700 sq. ft. of workshop space. Additionally, it will include a comprehensive assembly-fabrication-machining line.

thyssenkrupp selected Miles Construction of Carson City, Nevada, to develop the project.

thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions supplies turnkey plants and components for customers in the chemical, fertilizer, cement, mining and steel industries. The company employs about 11,500 worldwide.
