“Wes brings in a specific knowledge and expertise of the heavy off-road market that will bolster our organic growth and dealer network development in the region,” Lea says. “The southeast is experiencing significant growth and the Thunder Creek product line, matched with Wes’ network and abilities, is a recipe to deliver all new levels of productivity and efficiency to businesses in the region.”

Watkins is looking forward to joining the Thunder Creek family.

“I grew up in this industry and this region, and I’ve never felt that there’s a better match of jobsite solution and real-world challenges than what we’re bringing to market with Thunder Creek today,” Watkins says. “I look forward to traveling throughout the southeast, visiting familiar faces and sharing with them the real ways that Thunder Creek improves businesses that live and work off road.”

Dealer developments

Truck, trailer and farm equipment dealer, Lilley International, added Thunder Creek Equipment fuel and service trailers to its product offerings.

Lilley International serves North Carolina from four locations throughout the state and has spent more than 70 years serving the farming, logging and construction communities.

“Farmers and loggers have always played a key role in our market’s economic activity and the construction industry has boomed to support additional growth,” says Jim Lilley, vice president of Lilley International. “Thunder Creek’s product line offers the perfect solutions for these machinery-dependent businesses. We want to provide a complete solution and serve as a trusted partner for our customers. Thunder Creek enables us to expand our offerings and deepen relationships with our great partners throughout North Carolina.”

Ben Cox, president of Thunder Creek, says the pairing between his company and Lilley International was a no-brainer.

“Lilley International sits at a crossroads that is ideally suited for the Thunder Creek product line, selling and servicing trucks, trailers and farm equipment,” Cox says. “Their comprehensive understanding of the service and support needs of these markets, matched with decades of a proven track record with both on-road and off-road applications, makes them ideal Thunder Creek partners in the region.”
