The Titan HK 458 is a crossover wheel loader tire suited for most extreme loader applications requiring aggressive traction and excellent self-cleaning, Titan International says. The E-4/L-4 dual-rated bias tire combines the tread design of a forestry tire, a wheel loader tire and an ATV tire all in one, making it suitable for muddy, challenging construction sites where sludge and muck are endless. The HK 458 is initially available in two sizes: 20.5-25 and 23.5-25. The tire is suited to fit a range of mid-sized wheel loaders from every OEM, Titan says.

Mixed-service drive tire offers versatility

The Severe Series MSD (mixed-service drive) is a deep 32/32nds mixed-service drive tire designed to handle tough off-road conditions while delivering the long, even wear fleets require on roads, Cooper Tire says. Triangular tie bars in the outside shoulder help to promote traction throughout the life of the tire while mitigating heel toe wear. The casing includes stone ejectors to ensure multiple retreads beyond the original tread life. Additionally, Cooper Tire says Severe Series MSD tires feature chip guard technology.

Model for dump trucks, loaders and dozers

The Earthmax SR 412 tire from BKT, which equips articulated dump trucks, loaders and dozers, features all-steel belts that allow it to transport heavy loads while avoiding tears and punctures. The tread has a unique design with an E-4 depth, BKT says, guaranteeing exceptional traction and high-heat resistance. The square shoulder ensures the Earthmax SR 412 has a solid grip on the ground, giving the vehicle greater control and maneuverability. The model is available in the 29.5 R 25 and 750/65 R 25 sizes.

Options for skid-steers, backhoes and more

The General Tire line of earthmoving tires expanded with the introduction of 15 new items for graders, skid-steer loaders and backhoes. These application-specific tires are designed to provide a long life and high performance in rough operating environments, according to Continental. The company says the expansion into light construction applications complements the existing General Tire earthmoving line with tires suitable for articulated dump trucks, rigid dump trucks and scrapers. The comprehensive range is built for customers looking for durability and value, Continental adds.
