Libra Systems and Command Alkon are offering a system to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles, as well as eliminate the loss of material in overhead silo loadout situations. According to the companies, the standalone system can support operations that have overhead loadout – including aggregate, asphalt and ready-mixed concrete – and use any type of loadout automation. Opening the incorrect silo can happen daily depending on the operation, the companies say. The system features infrared sensors to enable each silo, if and only if, the truck is in the proper position.

Advantages of e-ticketing are aplenty

Soil Connect, a digital marketplace connecting those who have soil, aggregate and other building materials with those who need it, developed eTickets. According to the company, eTickets is an easy-to-use e-ticketing platform designed to eliminate the use of paper tickets and allow users to easily capture customer information. Users can keep track of the type of truck, destination, pictures, type of material, load count, as well as collect e-signatures and enable contactless transactions. eTickets provides a better ticket management solution for any industry that hauls and manages loads, Soil Connect adds. It eliminates the human error associated with traditional paper tickets and ultimately helps contractors get paid faster.

Platform can change the way you work

BinMaster’s BinCloud platform is an integrated cloud foundation for data monitoring of inventory contained in bins, tanks and silos. According to BinMaster, BinCloud enables on-site and remote workers to work via the cloud. BinCloud is the backbone of the BinView web application used to monitor solids, powders and liquids across all process industries. BinCloud allows workers to securely access inventory data stored in the cloud. The system is turnkey. Data is accessed by users from a phone, tablet or PC via the internet. It decreases dependency on local IT resources and eliminates the need for storing data and managing servers, the company says. The BinView program hosted on BinCloud is updated and maintained by BinMaster. Use of the programs can be scaled up and down in size as needed.
