Mettler Toledo’s single-draft weigh-in-motion scale, TruckPass, enables legal-for-trade levels of accuracy. TruckPass eliminates the need for trucks to stop on the scale to complete a transaction, the company says. Keeping trucks in motion with TruckPass can increase throughput potential, reduce congestion at the scale and help reduce overall traffic, thus reducing or even eliminating truck idling time at the scale, according to Mettler Toledo. With fewer trucks idling for less time, the company says operations can expect to see an impact on overall carbon footprint and more easily achieve sustainability goals. Because TruckPass enables drivers to complete transactions from their cab, the risk of potential safety hazards such as slips or traffic accidents is eliminated, Mettler Toledo adds. With the integration of DataBridge transaction management software, operations can eliminate costly human errors in data handling and gain better visibility into true operations. While TruckPass is designed for dynamic weighing, it can also be switched to static mode when needed.

Truck scales built for durability, reliability

Survivor truck scales are built tough from start to finish, according to Rice Lake Weighing Systems. Designed for durable performance, Rice Lake says Survivor truck scales provide extreme reliability under the most demanding conditions. The scales are manufactured with a durable design, structural weighbridge integrity and expert manufacturing, the company adds. Rice Lake offers a variety of options for any application, including concrete or steel decks, portable options, aboveground and pit foundations. A truck scale can be completed with accessories such as automated ticketing kiosks and printers. Automated ticketing kiosks optimize truck traffic and improve safety by keeping drivers behind the wheel, Rice Lake says.

Loadrite rebranded its Insight analytics product as InsightHQ. In May, Trimble sold the Loadrite business, affording the newly independent company the opportunity to leverage the existing brand value of InsightHQ and simplify its product line. Analytics and insights are at the core of Loadrite’s strategic direction, the company says, and this commitment is seen in the increased investment in InsightHQ. InsightHQ provides actionable insights to identify and solve quarry issues, control inventory and increase productivity, Loadrite says. The product provides real-time access to help make changes during a shift and see the immediate impact on production. Operators can view target versus actual production, delays, downtime and more to make informed decisions.
