The QA452 from Sandvik Mobile Crushers & Screens is a three-deck Doublescreen solution in the company’s QA series. According to Sandvik, its Doublescreen technology typically outperforms traditional screens, offering tailored rock-processing solutions for the quarry, recycling and mining industries. Sandvik engineered the three-deck tracked mobile plant with independent screen-angle adjustments and hydraulic screen separation. The plant features two triple-deck incline screen boxes with equal-size screen decks, providing 100 sq. ft. of screening area. Screen enhancements include an 11 percent longer bottom screen deck to extract more fines.

Compact screener is versatile, highly transportable

The design of EvoQuip’s Falcon 820 enables it to handle materials such as crushed stone, sand and gravel, demolition waste and topsoil. The Falcon 820 is a compact finishing screen that boasts a double-deck, two-bearing, 8-ft. x 4-ft. screen box. The plant features a compact transport envelope that allows it to be easily transported between sites.

Tech provides answer for machine startup, shutdown stresses

Simple to set up, Screen Machine says the tracked Spyder 516T is capable of delivering three sized products. The Spyder 516T is built with a hopper/feeder that is manufactured from 1/2-in.-thick U.S.-made Grade 80 steel, as well as with Screen Machine’s SmoothStart technology. The Spyder 516T with SmoothStart has a round shaft with weights on springs at one end. When the machine starts, Screen Machine says the shaft spins and creates virtually no shake and stress on the machine. As the machine warms up and rpms are raised, the weighted springs on the end of the shaft expand and create an eccentric weight that develops as much shake as required for the job.

Two-deck unit handles various construction materials

The GT2612V from Astec Industries is a mobile screening plant featuring a 2612V Vari-Vibe high-frequency screen. According to Astec, the two-deck, 6-ft. x 12-ft. screen uses a rotary tensioning system that allows for quick screen media changes. The 2612V has deck-mounted, variable-speed hydraulic vibrators, a hydraulic mechanism for varying operating angles, a fines-collecting hopper, top- and bottom-deck discharge chutes and an aggregate spreader. The high-frequency screen can quickly and efficiently size crushed stone, recycled asphalt pavement, sand, gravel and other materials, Astec says. The GT2612V is manufactured on a welded steel main frame with a channel cross section.
