Guy Wilson

Terex Trucks named Guy Wilson as its global sales lead. In this role, Wilson will be responsible for leading the company’s global sales team. He also will manage and provide strategic direction to the sales directors, the regional sales teams and the central key accounts resource in Motherwell, Scotland.

Wilson, who has more than 10 years of experience in the construction industry, currently serves as the company’s sales and marketing director. Prior to this position, he was the managing director for Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) Italia and the CFO and deputy managing director at Volvo CE’s U.K. dealership, Terex Trucks reports.

“We are delighted that Guy is bringing his extensive management and leadership expertise to the global sales team,” says Paul Douglas, director and general manager of Terex Trucks. “His strong background in national distribution and dealer management, as well as his roles at Volvo CE, have equipped him to understand what it takes to succeed through a channel network. I’m sure our dealers will benefit hugely from this appointment.”

Wilson will be based in Motherwell for the new role, and he will report to Douglas.
